Born into a family deeply rooted in farming, Mr. Mohit Pant’s journey began amidst the fields, where his passion for agriculture took root. His childhood spent alongside his father instilled in him a love for innovative farming practices and a spark of creativity.
After completing his higher education, Mr. Pant embarked on a career path that initially led him to the corridors of a bank as a Rural Agricultural Portfolio Officer. Yet, his heart yearned to be where his true passion lied – working directly with farmers.
In 2023, Mr. Pant made a bold decision to leave his lucrative job and delve into grassroots farming communities. His year-long exploration across states like Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh became a profound journey of learning from farmers firsthand, understanding their challenges, and seeking solutions.
Amidst his research, Mr. Pant witnessed the plight of farmers misled by false promises from various companies. This realization fueled his determination further.
In 2024, Orchard Solutions was born from Mr. Pant’s vision to bridge the gap between farmers and reliable agricultural support. His aim is clear: to empower a new wave of agri-entrepreneurs and uplift farmers with accurate knowledge and sustainable practices.
